Our problems are far from over. This is like trying to stop a major arterial bleed with a butterfly Band-Aid. Really. Obama, and our representatives haven't done a single thing since they've been in office.
Recap this - Obama has surrounded himself with the people who caused the major economic collapse of 2007 -2008. Some of his cabinet and Advisors were key players in the real-estate bubble - Lawrence Summers - a real piece of work received 5 mil in 2008 as managing director of D.E. Shaw, Michael Froman - received 7.4mil from citigroup in 08 before joining Obama, David Axelrod, David Stevens= head of Federal Housing Admin = former CEO of Long and Foster real estate brokerage firm,= 1999 - 2005 top executive for Freddie Mac.; Jacob Lew U.S. Office Management and Budget, = 2006 COO of Citigroups Alternative Investment Unit.; Austan Goolsbee - recently left his position with Obama out of frustration.
Why? - Because the Same CEO's, CFO'S, COO's, and others from the main investment firms, insurance firms, banking firms, lending firms still have jobs. Obama never requested an investigation of the big bubble burst of 2008. They left their positions or changed to new positions and kept their money and status, like nothing had ever happened. Now they advise our government and try to do damage control on the mess they created. The bank bailouts that saved their collective butts, doubled our national debt, and they kept their money and stayed out of jail. Now we're here. They are controlling the decision making - pushing it 2 more years. Obama is a puppet. This is being controlled by the former Bankers and the Federal Reserve. I do believe Obama wants to do something, but he has no control over these parties or their influence.
Here’s another interesting point. Dominique Strauss-Kahn. A recognized world financial leader who is openly critical of the U.S. Government’s handling of the 2008 crash. Just prior to returning to France comes down with a rape charge. He is known as a womanizer. But it’s awfully coincidental that these charges come when he is about to advise European officials on the status of the U.S. Economy, and perhaps change Europe’s stance and the value of the U.S. Dollar, just as the U.S. is about to start Budget talks? Strauss-Kahn has enough money to make a situation like this go away. Why is this woman so persistent? Is she virtuous? Does she want to do the right thing? Or is it acting; and her pay check is coming from a bigger source.

Casey Anthony - WHATS THE BIG DEAL ALREADY!
Really? Facts are facts and the fact is - The State did not have an open and shut case. They were relying on circumstantial evidence and Casey did a great job of muddying the water three years ago. Boil it down to facts and there is no evidence. Anyone with a brain can figure out she did it or knows who did and knows allot more than she's telling. However there is no evidence to back it up. The jurors did exactly what they were supposed to do. Base their decision on the facts of the case and the evidence of the case, and neither put the act in Casey's hand. Sorry but that’s the way the criminal justice system works. Beyond a reasonable doubt. The state barely had enough to bring a case, let alone a capitol murder case, they were stretching from the get go. Most of you are way to emotionally invested in something that presses no bering on your life. Do I think she did it or was a major player in her daughter’s death - yes - is there evidence to prove she actually murdered her - No. So get over it already - Karma is a B****, it'll all come back to her.
Casey was found NOT GUILTY She was not found Innocent nor was she Acquitted of any Charges. Though various press agencies seem to keep showing Innocent or Acquitted on their banners.
Not Guilty, Innocent, and Acquitted all carry very different meanings. Not Guilty means there was not enough evidence to convict on the charges presented, Innocent means that while the evidence may have implicated the accused the accused did not commit the crime, and Acquitted – means that the charges and evidence are found-less and the accused was wrongly charged and will be released of all charges.
The fact is - our system is not perfect. But you don't want a jury rendering a verdict based on emotion. If your backside was in the hot seat for a murder you didn't commit and even though the odds were stacked against you with circumstantial evidence, would you want the jury to decide on emotion or facts? What if it was you and you didn't do it, but just didn't have enough to prove your story 100% - think about it - Emotion or Facts. I'll hang with the facts - thank you - an emotional jury would put you in the electric chair or a needle in your arm without a second look, from their self righteous cloud. So keep it like Dragnet "Just the Facts Mam"

Open Letter to Governor Rick Scott
The problem with implementing the changes you propose Mr. Scott, are as follows:
It would appear that you and your commission have given no thought and put no research into the impact to the employees on which you’re inflicting your proposal. Thus it became obvious that you shot from the hip while blind folded. This isn’t the wild west, you’re dealing with people and their livelihoods. This isn’t a company out for profit, governments don’t and can’t run that way.
I came to the state two years ago knowing I was taking a pay cut from the private sector in exchange for a little security and stability. Now I am doing far more than my hired in position requires – and am qualified for – two levels above my current position soon to be three and can’t get promoted because no one is allowed to do anything to promote people and reward them for excelling. Realistically, how long do you expect people to stay? How long will you have good qualified people who care about their job, and making sure the taxpayers get what they’re paying for each and every time we build a new bridge or improve a road.
Each department is different, i.e. teachers & DOT workers. I have had conversations with people who are all for your plan, until I explain to them Florida is not like other states going through this. A large portion of us are not unionized; our pay scale is far below what other states pay their unionized workers. For example if your plan passes in its entirety you would in effect be inflicting a 50% pay cut on me – thus bringing my take home pay below what I could get from unemployment.
If you want to bring us in line with the private sector you’ll need to adjust our pay first. So what you gain in your benefits changes you’ll lose in salaries.
Looking at your proposal more – if passed I have 3 choices, 1. Keep my insurance and pension and apply for food stamps and any other government aid I can get my hands on. 2. Drop all benefits and keep my pay check where it is and hope no one in my family gets sick and/or I die before I need a pension 3. Quit and go on unemployment, welfare, food stamps and whatever else is out there. Ok so here is a fourth option. 4. I could go back to the private sector. Well there’s a big problem there, jobs in the private sector are few and far between so my best bet is out of state. Not my preferred option, packing up the family and moving them, but the option I’ll most likely choose.
I agree cuts need to be made and government agencies need to be streamlined. Even our department needs it in a bad way. However you’re going about this all wrong.
In short your plan lacks vision and planning. Fail to plan = Plan to fail. You’re off to a good start.

Arizona's New Law
Ok so perhaps I'm just a bit on the late side with this, but I was trying to leave it alone.
What’s the big deal? The only people who have to worry are those here illegally. Give it a rest already.
I just don't get it. People from my family came here many years ago and had to do it the right way, follow all the rules etc... Now not only do these people not want to follow the rules but they want us to learn Spanish, just a bit arrogant if you ask me. I know we don't have a national language here in the USA, but the predominant language has been English for a long time. Our Ancestors came here and became part of the country they didn't try to force the country to conform to them. Fine keep your nationality and heritage but become part of the country and work with us.
Oh by the way ACLU go away and stop helping these people Break The Law.

OMG! Howard Stern Speaks His Mind!
Ok, I just saw this on Inside Edition and thought this topic would make a great jumping off point for this blog.
Howard Stern comes out and speaks his mind and gets heat for it! Howard made comments on Gabourey Sidibe's (Precious) weight and gets slammed. Ok, so perhaps Howard’s comments don't meet with current PC guidelines, but hey, Howards show isn't PC and never has claimed to be. He says it like it is and well the truth sometimes hurts.
Come on America enough is enough, everyone is afraid to hurt someone else’s feelings or offend them - well in the words of the Eagles "GET OVER IT!” I'm sick of the increasing PC in this country. If you can't take it like it is then TOO BAD. A little criticism is good for you, it builds character. Just so you know, not everyone wins, life is not fair, and you're not entitled to anything. Work for it and grow up already. What Howard said didn't even require a response, just someone with an entitlement and everyone is equal mentality striking out, just so you know everyone isn't equal and you're not entitled.
